Laura's Deli & Wine
The idea behind twenty is the brainchild of Laura, owner of Laura's Deli & Wine, who wanted to build something that brings people together and supports other independent businesses along the way.
The idea for twenty was sparked on a trip Laura took to Florence of July 2025. That sense of a layered, multi-sensory experience is what they've brought back with them. From the smell of fresh coffee, to live music, thoughtful products and spaces to meet with family and friends is what twenty is all about.
At twenty, you’ll find our food and drink offering including plates and natural wine, a rotating mix of independent brands in our retail space, and a monthly programme of workshops, wine tastings and live music.

20 Smithdown Place, featuring in the world famous, Beatles ‘Penny Lane’ song, has served the local community as Lloyd’s TSB since 1904 and is a defining feature of many of the local community member’s childhoods.
